What's wrong with the Roots blower not working?

1. Foreign matter is stuck. Solution: It is necessary to clean the foreign matters in the cavity and check the clearance between impellers. In addition, check the cause of foreign matter falling in to avoid reoccurrence of the fault. The clearance of each part is blocked, so that the fan cannot rotate.

2. The impeller is damaged. Solution: The casing needs to be disassembled for inspection.

3. The gear is damaged. Solution: The casing needs to be disassembled for inspection. The meshing area of normal gears is about 2 to 3. If the meshing area is larger than this, the meshing force between gears is too large, which makes the gears unable to rotate, thus causing the fan unable to rotate.

4. The bearing is damaged. Solution: The casing needs to be disassembled for inspection. There are 4 bearings on Roots blower. If the bearing is damaged, the clearance between the impeller and the impeller, the casing, and the wallboard will change. The friction of the impeller will cause the fan to fail to rotate. This is the indirect reason for the change of the impeller clearance and the common reason for the impeller to fail to rotate.

5. Rust is stuck. Solution: Use kerosene immersion, gasoline washing and other means to clean the rust, and adjust the gap.

6. Component deformation. Solution: Replace with new parts.

7. The motor is damaged. Solution: Check the motor of the fan and remove the fault.
