Because the manufacturing of Roots vacuum pump is more difficult, the price of general Roots vacuum pump is higher than that of Roots fan. We can see the quotation of the same model. The price of vacuum pump is often higher.

3. Differences in installation

Roots blower can be used after installation, and the roots vacuum pump may need to be equipped with a front stage pump when starting. The purpose of the front stage pump is to ensure that the roots vacuum pump will not rise to a very high negative pressure, so the front stage pump is required to first increase the negative pressure, and then start the roots vacuum pump to continue to increase the pressure.
