What are the precautions during the use of Roots blower?

In brief, Roots blower is composed of two rotors that mesh with each other. When two impellers rotate, the pressure change chamber will form the change of air exhalation and suction, so that the air enters the Roots blower from the inlet. As the rotor rotates, it is compressed and finally discharged from the outlet of the Roots blower.

The working principle of Roots blower is to convert the rotation of the motor into the translation of the piston through the crankshaft connecting rod. The translation of the piston makes the volume of the cylinder compression chamber change periodically, thus reducing the gas volume of Roots blower and increasing the pressure.

Pay attention to the motor load and the temperature rise of each part of the pump. Under normal conditions, the maximum temperature rise of Roots vacuum pump shall not exceed 40 ℃, and the maximum operating temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃. If any oil leakage is found during the work, stop the work immediately, and check and repair after pressure relief.

Pay attention to the cooling protection of roots blower during its operation. During the project, the temperature rise of roots blower bearing shall not exceed 70 ℃, and the temperature rise of lubricating oil shall not exceed 45 ℃. When the oil temperature is too high in summer, pay attention to shading and ventilation, and it is recommended to use 220 # pressure resistant lubricating oil.
