1. Roots blower is allowed to start at full voltage or at reduced voltage, but it should be noted that the current at full voltage starting is about 5~7 times of the rated current, and the reduced voltage starting torque is proportional to the square of the current. When the grid capacity is insufficient, step-down starting shall be adopted. (When the power is greater than 11KW, it is recommended to start from voltage reduction.)

2. When debugging the fan, read the product manual carefully and check whether the wiring method is consistent with the wiring diagram; Carefully check whether the working voltage of the power supply to the fan meets the requirements, whether the power supply is out of phase or in phase, and whether the capacity of the distributor components meets the requirements.

3. During commissioning, there shall be no less than two people, one to control the power supply, and the other to observe the operation of the fan, and immediately shut down for inspection in case of any abnormality; First, check whether the rotation direction is correct; After the fan starts and operates, immediately check whether the running current is balanced and whether the current exceeds the rated current; If there is no normal phenomenon, stop the machine for inspection. After five minutes of operation, stop the machine to check whether there is any abnormality, and then start the machine.

4. When commissioning the double speed fan, start it at low speed and check whether the rotation direction is correct; When starting at high speed, the fan must be stopped before starting to prevent switch tripping and motor damage caused by high-speed reversal.

5. When the fan reaches the normal speed, check whether the input current of the fan is normal, and the operating current of the fan cannot exceed its rated current. If the working current exceeds its rated current, check whether the voltage supplied to the fan is normal.

6. The motor power required by Roots blower refers to the relatively large power required when the inlet of centrifugal blower and fan box is fully opened under working conditions. If the air inlet is fully opened for operation, the motor may be damaged. During the trial operation of the fan, the valve on the fan or outlet pipe shall be closed. After the operation, the valve shall be gradually opened until the required working condition is reached, and attention shall be paid to whether the operating current of the fan exceeds the rated current.

7. When Roots blower starts, open the exhaust valve to ensure no-load start. After a smooth start, slowly close the exhaust valve; During shutdown, unload the load gradually, and then stop when there is no load.

8. In order to ensure that the indoor environment of the fan is clean and avoid dust, the fan, especially the air inlet, should be wiped frequently to avoid blocking due to dust inhalation. The window of the wind turbine generator room shall be equipped with screens to prevent insects, mosquitoes and flies from entering.
