Due to the continuous operation of Roots blower for a long time, the temperature rise of the motor body is too high, and the bearing is not filled with grease in time, resulting in bearing oil shortage until the bearing is damaged, shaft bending, belt fracture and other phenomena.
The bearings of Roots blower were improperly assembled. For example, uneven tapping on the inner ring of the bearing during cold assembly caused the shaft to be worn, resulting in the loss of interference between the inner ring of the bearing and the outer ring or the reduction of the interference, resulting in the inner ring running. Uneven tapping on the motor end cover resulted in loose matching between the end cover bearing chamber and the outer ring of the shaft, resulting in the outer ring running. Running either the inner ring or the outer ring will cause the temperature rise of the bearing to rise sharply. As long as the bearing is in good condition, intermittent running of the outer ring is allowed.
The bearing wall is not cleaned, or the grease is not clean. For example, in order to keep the small steel materials of the bearing thoroughly cleaned, the bearing will burn out due to excessive temperature rise due to damage caused by rolling of the bearing during operation. When the bearing is replaced and processed again, the interference of the motor end cover after nesting is too large or the ovality exceeds the standard, which causes the bearing ball clearance to be too small or uneven, which causes the friction force to increase when the bearing runs, and the temperature rises sharply until it is burned out.
Due to axial misalignment of stator and rotor iron cores or insufficient precision after re machining of the rotating shaft, the inner and outer rings of the bearing are not on the same section, which causes the temperature of the bearing to rise after "eating hard" operation until it is burned.
The damage of the bearing of the fan is also directly related to the temperature. The bearing temperature of the fan shall not exceed 95 ℃, otherwise the damage will occur. If the temperature is too high, the structure of the bearing will change, and if the temperature is too high, the consumption of butter will also be increased. If the fan is operated under high temperature for a long time, the damage probability of the bearing will increase.
The thrust bearing on the fan may be worn or burnt out due to the following reasons:
1. The blade is dusty. After the blades are covered with ash, the flow passage area will be reduced, the pressure of each section of the flow passage will rise, and the axial thrust will increase, thus causing accidents.

2. The gap between diaphragm gas seals is too large, or the original gap between diaphragm joint surfaces is too large, resulting in serious air leakage, which increases the pressure difference between the front and rear of the impeller, leading to increased thrust and causing accidents.
3. Lack of oil. Due to the low oil level of the oil tank and the deterioration of the oil quality, the oil filter screen is blocked, causing the reduction of oil pumping of the hydraulic pump. When the air bubbles contained in the oil enter the thrust bearing, the air bubbles can not bear the thrust and break the oil film, resulting in friction between the thrust disc and the working pad, resulting in a bearing pad burning accident.
4. The oil is not clean, the oil quality is poor or contains dirt, or the oil contains water.
5. The casting and installation quality of thrust pad is poor. If there are impurities in the black gold, the force on each thrust tile is uneven, and the thrust tile is jammed.
6. The thrust disc is uneven and smooth, or the tightening force of the thrust disc is not enough, and it is loose when rotating.
7. Bearing oil inlet failure. The oil film is damaged due to the oil inlet fault, such as the oil inlet hole is blocked due to the bearing rotation caused by the breaking of the bearing locating pin.
8. The balance force of balancing axial thrust disappears or decreases.
9. The expansion of the unit is blocked. Due to uneven expansion, the load on each pad of thrust bearing is also uneven, and local overload causes bearing pad burning accident.
10. The prime mover stops suddenly, causing the fan shaft to move normally, and the instantaneous thrust increases, resulting in thrust bearing accidents.
