Why is the hot air coming from Roots blower?

Different models of fans have different degrees of temperature rise. The higher the pressure is, the higher the temperature rises. But under the influence of pressure ratio, the temperature rises around 20 degrees Celsius under normal conditions. Why do we find that the temperature rise will exceed 20 degrees Celsius in actual conditions?

First of all, the fan may have some faults, such as mechanical friction, which will further release some heat, leading to a further increase in the exhaust temperature, which may reach more than 110 degrees in serious cases.

Then, due to the influence of the inlet air temperature, the inlet air temperature of the fan generally shall not exceed 40 ℃. When the transmission medium is air, the inlet air temperature may exceed 40 ℃ under the condition of poor heat dissipation, resulting in an increase in the outlet temperature of the fan.

Excessive temperature will affect the fan parts, such as the temperature of seals, bearings, oil tank lubricating oil, etc., which may cause fan failure.

Therefore, in the daily patrol inspection, the fan temperature is also the detection content. The fan temperature is monitored every day to ensure that the fan temperature does not exceed a certain range, so that the roots blower can be used for a long time.
