Roots blower is a high pressure fan. Roots blower is a volumetric fan. The air volume conveyed is proportional to the number of revolutions, and the gas is conveyed from the suction side to the discharge side. If the load needs constant pressure effect, centrifugal fan is used. Because the centrifugal fan is a constant pressure fan, the main working parameter is the air pressure, and the output air volume changes with the change of the pipeline and load, and the air pressure changes little.
Apply lubricating grease to the outer circle of the oil seal, and then seal the oil into the oil seal seat by using the sleeve drilling method as shown in the figure below. If there is no sleeve, copper rod can be used to knock repeatedly on the symmetrical position of the oil seal end face. However, do not use excessive force to avoid distorting or damaging the oil seal. If the oil seal fits with the oil seal seat too tightly, do not press it forcibly, otherwise the oil seal will be deformed. At this time, the outer circle of the oil seal can be properly ground down, but it must be ensured that its outer circle is concentric with the lip, and that there is a normal interference between the outer circle surface and the oil seal seat.
1. If two oil seals are installed in one oil seal seat of Roots blower at the same time, they cannot be stacked together and pressed in at one time; Press one oil seal to the specified position first, and then reassemble the other oil seal;
2. When installing the oil seal, do not mistake the installation direction of the oil seal, and point the working surface of the oil seal to the side to be sealed;
3. When the Roots blower oil seal is installed, when the lip passes through the key slot, thread, shoulder and other cutting edges, metal guide sleeve or thin mesh reel shall be used for protection;
4. When pushing the Roots blower oil seal up the shaft, use a screwdriver to rotate along the inner diameter of the shaft seal, and push while turning to avoid lip damage and spring falling off.
When installing two oil seals in one oil seal seat, do not press them together at one time. One oil seal must be pressed in place before the other. At the same time, do not mistake the installation direction of the oil seal, and point the working surface of the oil seal (that is, the side of the buckle spring) to the side to be sealed. As with the installation of O-ring, when the oil seal lip passes through the thread, keyway, shoulder and other cutting edges, it should be protected by a metal guide sleeve or a thin copper sheet reel.
When pushing the oil seal up the shaft, in order to avoid lip damage and spring falling off, use a screwdriver to rotate along the inner diameter of the shaft seal, and push while turning. Micro leakage of oil seal at the initial stage of operation (within 5-100h) is allowed. Generally, with the extension of operation time, the leakage may gradually stop. During maintenance, it is not advisable to apply excessive radial pressure to the oil seal in order to avoid leakage, which may easily burn the oil seal lip.
