At present, we generally adopt the original method to deal with the misalignment fault of the fan. First, level the main shaft of Roots blower, and rotate the impeller to ensure that the levelness deviation of the main shaft of the blower at each point is within the range; Then find the alignment of the fan and motor coupling. Generally, use a dial indicator to detect the runout at four points to ensure that the runout at four points is within the technical range, so that the alignment is basically found. It can also be solved by laser alignment instrument, which is convenient and fast.
Roots blower coupling is a transmission device directly connected to three blade roots blower. When the following conditions occur to the coupling, it shall be repaired or replaced. The alignment accuracy of three blade roots blower coupling is 0.05mm.
1. Check the two half couplings. If there is a crack, or the pin hole becomes larger and out of round due to wear, it should be replaced. Check the keyway. If the deformation is not too large, use a file cutter to correct it; In case of large deformation, machining method can be used to highlight the keyway (but not more than 10% of the original size), and then re key. If the keyway is severely damaged and difficult to repair, and there are no spare parts for replacement, the keyway can be reprocessed opposite the old keyway.
2. Check the connecting bolts and replace them if there are bald buckles, cambers, cracks, etc.
3. Check the rubber ring and replace it if it is worn seriously. All rubber rings on the coupling shall be replaced at the same time to ensure uniform force on each pin during operation.
The rubber ring is a standard part with specific technical requirements. If you can't get it at the moment, you can use the leather pavilion as a temporary substitute. The specific method of self-made leather ring is: use high-quality leather to make rings with slightly larger outer diameter, cover them on the pin one by one and press them tightly, and then use a grinder to grind the outer circle to the specified size.
The coupling of roots blower is often not concentric and parallel, so it must be aligned.
① Inspection method
Roots blower generally uses elastic sleeve pin coupling, and common inspection methods include ruler inspection method and micrometer inspection method:
a. Check with a ruler
After connecting the two shafts with the coupling, place one side of the ruler against the outer edge surface of the coupling axially. Without rotating the coupling, check it in the order of up, down, left and right. Make adjustment in case of unevenness until the outer edges of the two coupling halves are flush. Sometimes, due to the manufacturing error of the coupling, although the outer edge surfaces of the two half couplings are flush, they still fail to meet the requirements of the coupling alignment. This method is relatively simple, but its precision is not very high.
b. Measure with dial indicator
Fix the dial indicator bracket on one half coupling and the measuring bracket on the other half coupling. Turn the coupling to make the two half couplings rotate synchronously, and record the readings of the dial indicator at the upper, lower, left and right positions in the figure. Then compare the values of the upper and lower, left and right symmetrical points. If the difference does not exceed the specified range, it is considered to meet the requirements, otherwise it must be adjusted.
② Adjustment method
When the coupling needs to be adjusted, it is generally aligned by moving the motor. The motor has four legs. If the thickness of the shims between the four legs and the base is changed equally, the motor axis can be moved up and down; The motor axis can swing up and down by changing the thickness of the shims under the front 2 (or rear 2) feet. For the installation deviation occurred in the horizontal plane, the motor axis can swing in the horizontal plane by using an oil jack or hitting a foot in the horizontal direction with a copper hammer; If two feet on the same side are knocked, the motor axis can move in parallel in the horizontal plane.
