4. Noise. The noise problem of oxidation roots blower in desulfurization and dust removal project is a common problem in most domestic power plants. In order to reduce the noise, a sound insulation cover is often set outside the blower. However, the entrance and exit are outside the acoustic enclosure, which cannot fundamentally solve the noise problem. The inlet is equipped with a silencer, and the size of the silencer has a direct impact on the noise level. For the large capacity oxidation fan, the noise at the cooler is also obvious, and it is placed outside the acoustic enclosure. Pay attention to the following matters during the operation of oxidation roots blower in desulfurization and dust removal project:


1. The pressure depends on the liquid level and density of the absorption tower. Since the absorption tower is equipped with an overflow pipe, the liquid level can not be used as a key control point. The slurry density is critical. Generally, the slurry concentration is about 20% (30% in a few power plants). When the concentration deviates greatly from the design value and operates at a high liquid level, the oxidation fan outlet pressure will be high, It may even exceed the rated pressure. Too high concentration also increases the wear of equipment and pipelines. Therefore, the liquid level and slurry concentration of the absorption tower shall be controlled.

2. The oxidation air pipeline is blocked, which may also cause the outlet pressure to rise. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the nozzle of the oxidation lance is scaling. If scaling blocks the pipe, the pressure will increase. The effective means to avoid scaling and blocking is to control the oxidation air desuperheating water (the dry and wet interface of the oxidation air is easy to structure if the temperature is too high); Focus on inspection of oxidation pipeline during maintenance

3. Check valve. To avoid reverse flow of oxidation air when the standby oxidation fan is running. Generally, the oxidation fan outlet has a special check valve. If the check valve fails, it cannot be fully opened when the fan is running, which will cause the fan to hold pressure. This probability is relatively small, so it is easy to be ignored

4. (Safety valve) The oxidation fan outlet is equipped with a safety valve protection device. When the pressure is abnormal, the safety valve will act to protect the equipment from damage due to abnormal pressure. The safety valve is in good condition, which is the key to protect the equipment

5. DCS pressure indication and current indication should be accurate, so that operators can accurately judge the actual operating conditions of equipment and systems. If the pressure rises, the current will increase sharply, but the current increase is often not enough to cause relay protection action, which requires special attention of operators.
