How to reduce aeration of Roots blower?

Excessive air volume of Roots blower may cause waste of resources, or it is necessary to control the air volume of the blower. Different situations may require different air volume requirements of Roots blower, and it may also require air volume adjustment. Excessive air volume of Roots blower is not a good thing.

1. Add frequency converter

The frequency of Roots blower motor is closely related to the air volume of the fan. The air volume will naturally decrease when the frequency decreases. The air volume (aeration) of Roots blower can be reduced by adjusting the frequency of the motor. This is the most commonly used method, which is to adjust the same type of Roots blower.

2. Replace the belt pulley of Roots blower

If we use an old Roots blower or a second-hand Roots blower, and the rated air volume of the blower is large, we can replace the pulley. In fact, the first principle is the same, that is, adjust the rotation frequency of the blower to reduce the air volume.

3. Replace the head or motor of the fan

Replacing the head or motor can reduce the air volume, but it needs to match the corresponding parameter model, that is, the motor and head must be determined according to the model selection sample, rather than replacing them under the standard, which may cause more problems. 4. Replace with new equipment

Replacement of new equipment is the last choice. If our Roots blower has been used for a long time, the air volume also has certain problems, and the energy consumption has not been reduced, then we can purchase new equipment, which is more cost-effective.
