Installation method and piping of Roots blower

1 Installation site

1 Roots blower and vacuum pump shall be installed in a bright and dust-free building. If they cannot be installed outdoors, necessary rain proof and explosion-proof measures shall be taken, and special attention shall be paid to the safety protection of motor and V-belt.

2. The blower and vacuum pump shall be installed in a spacious place to facilitate disassembly, assembly and daily inspection, and ensure good ventilation.

2 Basic engineering

2.1 Concrete foundation shall be adopted for the foundation. The weight of air blower and vacuum pump and the pressure resistance of the foundation shall be fully considered to make the foundation have sufficient pressure area. It is recommended that the appropriate proportion of concrete is 1 for cement, 2 for sand and 4 for gravel.

2. In order to install the anchor bolts, the concrete foundation shall be reserved with sufficient reserved holes, and the foundation surface shall be as horizontal as possible.

3 The installation can be carried out only after the concrete has been fully hardened.

3 Installation

1 Place the blower and vacuum pump on the foundation, insert inclined iron between the base and the foundation surface to make the base evenly supported, place the level gauge on the processing plane of the blower and vacuum pump for observation, and align the levelness of the body, with the allowable deviation within 0.2mm/1m. (When the fan is equipped with vibration isolator, the foundation can meet the horizontal tolerance within 2mm/1m.) When the body level is found, the grouting gap shall flow out between the base and the foundation surface.

2 Install the anchor bolt into the designated position of the reserved hole first, and tighten the nut fully, so that the anchor bolt is suspended in the reserved hole.

3 Pour one part of cement and two parts of sand into the lower part of the base and the anchor bolt holes for several days. After the cement hardens, tighten the anchor bolt nuts, and pay attention to the uniform fastening.

4 In order to avoid damage to the blower and vacuum pump caused by direct starting, and to ensure the normal power consumption of users, please be sure to install step-down starting cabinet, soft start and other devices.

4 Piping

1 When connecting pipelines, try to reduce the configuration of elbows, and do not use 90 ° right angle elbows. To avoid increasing unnecessary resistance. Blowers and vacuum pumps are not allowed to bear additional loads, and supporting devices should be set on the piping.

2 Before installing piping, first check the inside of the blower and vacuum pump body, and seal the air inlet and outlet if there is no debris. Thoroughly remove rust, dust, foreign matter, etc. in the inlet and outlet pipes, and then connect with the blower and vacuum pump. All flange connection surfaces shall be free from air leakage. A filter with sufficient capacity shall be installed at the inlet side of the blower, and the filter shall be kept clean. When the inlet resistance is too large, the filter screen of the filter must be removed for cleaning.

3 Elastic joints shall be installed at the inlet and outlet of the blower and vacuum pump to eliminate the impact of pipeline vibration and thermal deformation, and facilitate the connection with the pipeline.

4 A pressure gauge must be installed at the exhaust side of the blower, and a vacuum gauge must be installed at the suction side of the vacuum pump. The range of the gauge must match the operating conditions.

5 The safety valve and check valve must be installed on the exhaust side of the blower to prevent damage to the blower due to overload and gas backflow. The suction side of the vacuum pump must be equipped with a vacuum safety valve to prevent damage to the vacuum pump due to vacuum overload. The supporting safety valve or vacuum valve has been adjusted according to the user's requirements when leaving the factory, so the user does not need to adjust it. Each valve must be installed on the horizontal piping, and the check valve should be installed behind the muffler.

6 In order to achieve better noise reduction effect, the muffler should be installed near the blower and vacuum pump.
