Roots blower It belongs to volume rotary blower. The compressor keeps the two rotors engaged by the synchronous gear at the rotor shaft end. Each concave curved surface on the rotor forms a working volume with the inner wall of the cylinder. During the rotation of the rotor, the gas is taken away from the suction port. When the rotor moves to the exhaust port near which it is connected with the exhaust port, the pressure in the working volume suddenly rises due to the backflow of high pressure gas, and then the gas is transported to the exhaust channel. The two rotors do not contact each other, and they are sealed by a tightly controlled gap, so the discharged gas is not polluted by lubricating oil.

1. Adjust the clearance between impeller and wallboard

If it is found that the end face of the impeller rubs against the side wall plate of the housing, the packing shall detect the clearance between the impeller and the side wall of the housing, and the fixed bearing cover screws shall slide so that the bearing seat and bearing cover are used at the end of the pulley (or coupling). Add or remove shims to adjust the axial movement of the impeller. This depends on the interval of measurement. The bolts are tightened symmetrically and the bearing cover is fixed.

2. Adjustment of radial clearance between impeller and casing

The original radial clearance value of the bearing is determined by the accuracy level of the bearing. When the outer end of the impeller rubs on the housing, remove the fan gear cover, loosen the bolts at both ends of roots blower, and remove the locating pin. The other end is the top and outer diameter head of the drive gear and pulley (or coupling).

Gently and symmetrically strike the gear and the belt pulley (or coupling) at the other end with a copper hammer, and measure once every time. Repeatedly check whether the clearance meets the requirements, and then tighten the bolts at both ends.

At least, the imported high-speed bearings of the pad shaft or the Luo shaft should be used. The gear wear can be judged according to the gear meshing clearance. If the gear wear exceeds the limit, The two synchronous gears can be turned over, so that the service life of the gear can be doubled. When adjusting the clearance between the two blades, it is necessary to use a feeler gauge to measure more than 4 points along the length of the blade, so as to ensure that the clearance on the entire length is uniform and consistent.
