What is the working principle of nickel plated Roots blower?

Source: Roots blower manufacturer Release time: December 16, 2023 Hits:

The working principle of nickel plated roots blower is based on the working principle of roots blower (also called gantry blower or blower). Roots blower is a centrifugal fan, which is mainly used to transport gas or gas-solid two-phase mixture.

The working principle is as follows:

Impeller and housing: There are two or more impellers inside Roots blower, and these impellers mesh with each other. The impeller is composed of blades and rotates around the main shaft. The blades of Roots blower are different from those of traditional centrifugal blower. They are more like spiral shape, which is also one of the characteristics of Roots blower.

Compression process: when Roots blower is running, the rotation of impeller will suck gas or gas-solid mixture into the air inlet of Roots blower. As the impeller rotates, the gas is pushed to the inside of the housing.

Meshing process: an airtight meshing clearance is formed between the impeller blade and the housing inside the housing. This clearance extends along the circumference of the impeller and changes as the impeller rotates. Due to the special shape of the impeller, this meshing process can effectively seal the gas in the gap.

Exhaust process: as the impeller continues to rotate, the gas is pushed to the exhaust port of Roots blower. At the exhaust port, the gas is released to the external environment or transported to the next processing stage, depending on the application requirements.

Circulation process: The circulation process of Roots blower is continuous. When the impeller rotates and continues to mesh, the gas is continuously sucked in, compressed and discharged.

The reason why nickel plated Roots blower is called "nickel plated" may be that its blades, impellers or other key components adopt nickel plating process, thus improving the wear resistance, corrosion resistance or conductivity of parts to adapt to specific working environment or improve the service life of the blower.
