Roots Blower Special oil: 220 # medium load gear oil; Generally, the oil level shall be checked every day, and the oil level shall be kept at the middle upper position of the oil mirror. If the oil level is lower than the middle position, lubricating oil shall be added in time, and the lubricating oil shall be completely replaced once every three months. When Roots blower was first used, the gear oil must be replaced within one month.

Operating instructions of Roots blower: the inlet steam temperature of conveying medium shall not be greater than 40 generally. The content of particles in the medium shall not exceed 100mg/m3, and the maximum size of particles shall not exceed half of the minimum working gap. During operation, the bearing temperature shall not be higher than 95, and the lubricating oil temperature shall not be higher than 65. When installing the fan, check whether the foundation is firm, whether the surface is flat, whether the foundation is higher than the ground, etc. The working pressure shall not be higher than the pressure rise range specified on the nameplate. The clearance between the impeller and the casing, between the impeller and the side plate, and between the impeller and the impeller of Roots blower have been adjusted when leaving the factory. The clearance shall be ensured when reassembling. When roots blower is running, the oil level of main oil tank and auxiliary oil tank must be between the two red lines of oil level gauge.

What oil should be added for roots blower maintenance

Role of adding lubricating oil to Roots blower:

3. The metal parts of Roots blower are easy to rust. Apply a layer of grease on the surface to prevent rust.

4. The sealing function is to apply lubricating grease on the sealing packing and shaft seal, which can effectively play a sealing role, preventing liquid leakage and dust invasion.

5. Washing function, especially in the circulating thin oil lubrication system, it continuously washes the friction surface to remove dust and dirt, so as to avoid scratching the friction surface.
