Most gear pairs on driven shaft of Roots blower are made of gear ring and gear hub assembly. The clearance between impellers can be achieved by adjusting the driven gear ring. During adjustment, it is only necessary to remove the locating pin and rotate the screw, that is, rotate the moving gear ring to adjust the impeller clearance. After the clearance is adjusted, tighten the fastening screw, drill and ream the locating pin hole again, and install a new locating pin.

The gear backlash shall not be greater than or equal to the tooth clearance of two blade gears during design. Practice has proved that when the gear backlash is more than two-thirds of the impeller clearance, the two impellers will collide during operation. In this case, the two cogged gears need to be updated or readjusted.

The gear and shaft adopt high precision transition fit, and the key used to fix the gear adopts special tolerance fit to prevent the gear key from loosening, so that the gear can be tightly fixed on the shaft, so as to prevent the gear backlash from increasing once the gear is loose, so that the two impellers will collide.

The roller slide of Roots blower with low flow, low pressure and low speed generally adopts closed oil tank, and an oil slinger splash lubrication gear is installed on the main shaft end. How does the gear accuracy of the three blade roots blower affect the noise?

All used old gears shall be installed according to the orientation marks made during disassembly and the original wear marks to avoid poor meshing of the tooth surface. If a new gear is used, the driving and driven wheels shall be replaced together. Otherwise, the matching of new and old gears will inevitably lead to poor contact. During operation, the automatic gear is usually installed first, and then the driven gear. When the gear and shaft are connected by flat key, first install the flat key on the shaft, and then apply molybdenum disulfide or high viscosity oil on the side of the key, then opposite the gear shaft hole to the shaft, so that the keyway on the hole is aligned with the flat key, and then install the gear on the shaft. The common device methods are as follows:

1. When the taper selected for the gear and shaft is in cooperation, first put the automatic gear on the automatic shaft, install a round nut on the locking part of the gear, and then hit the end face of the gear with a copper rod to tighten the round nut. After it is fully locked, back off the round nut, participate in the thrust washer and formally lock it. Then put the driven gear onto the driven wheel, rotate the rotor in the regular working direction, and check the clearance between the two impellers. After changing the circumferential position between the driven gear ring and the hub, adjust the orientation of the impeller, recognize the requirements of the impeller clearance symbol, and lock the driven gear.

2. If it is cylindrical cooperation, because the cooperation is tight, it needs to apply greater pressure to install the gear onto the shaft. Usually, the metal sleeve is pressed on the end face of the gear, and then the sleeve is impacted with a hammer, or the end face of the gear is directly hit with a copper bar, the gear is pushed up the shaft, and the gear is locked after being pushed up to the shaft shoulder.

The fan has large volume utilization rate, high volume efficiency, compact structure and flexible installation mode. The selection of bearings is more reasonable, and the service life of each bearing is even, thus extending the life of the fan. The fan oil seal is made of imported fluororubber material, which is high temperature resistant, wear-resistant and has a long service life.

Roots blower is supported by rotors with two bearings, and then uses a pair of synchronous gears to keep the relative positions of the two rotors unchanged to control the wind direction, which makes Roots blower applied in many industries.
