1. Ensure the smoothness of Roots blower and pipeline

During the maintenance of Roots blower, the parts on the air inlet pipe must be cleaned and inspected; The ash and oil sludge in the casing must be cleaned; Check whether the outlet parts and pipes are unobstructed.

2. The safety valve is flexible, reliable and effective

3. The three clearances of Roots blower must be ensured

The three clearances of Roots blower refer to the radial clearance between the rotor and the shell, the clearance between the rotor and the rotor, and the clearance between the rotor side and the shell wall. The installation and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the relevant maintenance manual. If there is no clear or explicit requirement, the minimum clearance can be calculated according to the following formula.

Radial clearance between rotor and housing: 0.00036D+a, where D is the maximum outer diameter of rotor, in m, and a is the radial clearance of bearing, in mm.

Minimum clearance between rotors: 0.00036A+a, A is the center distance between two rotors, in mm, and a is still the center distance between rotors, in mm.

The side clearance between the rotor and the wallboard is 0.00036L+b, where L is the length of the rotor, in mm, and b is the axial clearance of the bearing, in mm.

4. Pin positioning is accurate

There are three positions of Roots blower that must be accurately positioned, or the operation of the blower will be affected. The pins of the upper and lower housings and the pins of the gearbox are basically not replaced during maintenance, so only correct installation is required during maintenance. The gear pair is different. When replacing the gear, first install and fix the keyed gear, then install another one, and lock it after it fits well with the joint surface of the other gear. Turn the gear to check the contact condition of the gear surface. If there is no problem, re punch the pin hole and finish reaming, then install the pin, and then turn the gear to check the contact accuracy of the gear. If it is good, the casing and the impeller, and the impeller and the impeller do not rub, That's all right.

5. Installation of pulley

When installing and aligning the belt pulley, it must be ensured that the corresponding belt groove is in the same plane and the error is less than 1.0mm. At the same time, it must be ensured that the belt tightness is moderate, the length of each belt is the same, and the force is the same. The belt should be tightened when the thumb can move down about 15mm by pressing the belt.
