What should be the proper intake temperature of Roots blower?

Roots blower is mandatory gas transportation equipment. Because of the forced transportation, air will be compressed. The process of applying pressure to reduce air will release a lot of energy. Energy is heat. Different models of equipment have different degrees of temperature rise, and the pressure will become higher and the temperature will be higher. However, the compression ratio has an impact on the normal temperature rise of about 20 degrees Celsius. Why does the temperature rise actually exceed 20 degrees Celsius. In order to ensure the normal operation of bearings, lubricating oil, gears and impellers, the temperature after boosting should not be too high, usually around 90 ℃.

If the temperature of the gas we transport exceeds 40 ℃, such as saturated steam with high temperature, the requirements for the fan will also rise when the temperature is high, such as stainless steel material, anti-corrosion treatment for the fan, replacement of sealing method, cooling of bearing and oil tank, etc., which requires special treatment before use.

In most cases, Roots blower conveys clean air. If the temperature of clean air is lower than 40 ℃, the normal operation of the blower can be guaranteed. Conventional configuration: cast iron, piston ring seal, air cooling can be used.

Overpressure caused by pipe blockage. Increase heat release, overvoltage is the more dangerous fault, and the motor of the equipment is easy to burn out, which is also the influence factor of equipment temperature rise.

The air inlet temperature of ordinary equipment shall not exceed 40 ℃ due to the influence of the air inlet temperature. The transportation medium is air. In this case, if the cooling is not smooth, the air inlet temperature may exceed 40 ℃, and the temperature at the equipment outlet will rise. Excessive temperature will affect the spare parts of the fan. For example: seal, bearing, water tank lubricating oil temperature, etc., which may lead to equipment failure. Therefore, in the daily patrol work, the temperature of the equipment is also the test content. The temperature monitoring of the fan every day ensures that the temperature of the equipment does not exceed a specific range, so that the Roots blower can be used for a long time.
